Constitution day celebrated in Telangana varsities

A special Assembly was held to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.

The preamble of the Constitution and the fundamental duties of a citizen were read in the morning.

Hyderabad: As notified by the UGC, universities across Telangana celebrated Constitution Day on Sunday.

A special Assembly was held to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.

The preamble of the Constitution and the fundamental duties of a citizen  were read in the morning.  

A list of the fundamental duties of a citizen was posted across notice boards on the campus. Students spoke in the Assembly about the importance of each one’s fundamental duties.

Meghna Divakar, a student at one of the university, said, “It was important to have the special Assembly, as these practices usually end with school.  The Assembly session was informative.”
