Adilabad: Ever considered a trip into the earth's bowels to get a glimpse of the world of mining? The TSRTC intends to allow you to do so with its ‘Singareni Darshan’ tour, which includes visits to underground and open-cast coal mines and power plants.

The package is the most recent addition to the TSRTC bouquet which includes trips to several designated tourist destinations.

In the Rs 1,600 package, the TSRTC will also offer tourists a view of the Jaipur power plant and rescue station. According to reliable sources, the road transport behemoth will take tourists to the underground 7LEP mine and opencast OCP-3 mine in Godavarikhani of Peddapalli district.

The TSRTC reportedly signed an agreement with Singareni Collieries Company
(SCCL) for 'Singareni Darshan'.

The package tour to the Singareni coal reserves, which span 350 kilometres of Telangana's Pranahita-Godavari valley, includes vegetarian lunch. The pick-up locations are MG Bus Station and Jubilee Bus Station in Hyderabad.
