Kottayam: Navy officials conduct search for missing couple

Kottayam: Divers from Indian Navy conducted a search for the missing couple from Arupara near Kumarakom at the Thazhathangady river on Thursday using equipment that can pick up visuals from the bottom of the river. The Navy officials conducted search on one and a half km as per the special request of the police. The search will be continued on Friday. Hashim, 42 and Habeeba, 37, of Arupara near Kumarakom have been missing since April 6 while they went to the hotel in Kottayam town for buying food in a WagonR car.
