NEW DELHI: Amidst the anticipation, even before Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his entry into the Lok Sabha hall of the new Parliament building on Sunday, the atmosphere was filled with the resounding claps and chants of "Modi, Modi" by members of the ruling NDA. The large screens inside the hall displayed his arrival at the entrance, further fueling the excitement.

As he entered the hall, the adulation and applause grew louder, accompanied by occasional slogans of "Bharat Mata ki Jai" and "Shivaji Maharaj ki Jai."

The enthusiasm continued until Prime Minister Modi, accompanied by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairperson Harivansh, reached the dais, marking the formal commencement of the ceremony.

During his approach to the dais, PM Modi also acknowledged several dignitaries, including Supreme Court judges, former president Ram Nath Kovind, and former prime minister H.D. Deve Gowda. Many BJP MPs were capturing the moment on their mobiles as he made his way to the dais.

Prior to the Prime Minister's arrival, several MPs and members of the audience, including Chief Ministers, were seen greeting home minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Some of them even took selfies with the influential BJP leaders. Additionally, many individuals approached veteran party leader Murli Manohar Joshi and former Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to exchange greetings.

The Shiv Sena members stood out in the crowd with their colorful turbans, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the occasion.
