Schedule announced for second Special Summary Revision

 HYDERABAD: The Election Commission of India has announced second Special Summary Revision of photo electoral rolls from October 1, 2023 as the qualifying date and a schedule has been fixed in Telangana state. House-to-house verification through booth-level officers will be conducted from May 25 to June 23.

Rationalisation or re-arrangements of polling stations, removal of discrepancies of EPICs and others will be conducted from June 24 to July 24.

Integrated draft electoral rolls will be published on August 2. Period for filing claims and objections is August 2 to August 31, 2023. The final publication will be on October 4, 2023.

Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj on Saturday said that all eligible citizens attaining the age of 18 years on or before October 1, 2023 and those who missed to enrol themselves on earlier occasions can file their applications for enrolment, objections and corrections.
