Rs 10 crore for Aroor Industrial Estate

ALAPPUZHA: The central government has allotted Rs 10 crore for the renovation of Industrial Estate, Aroor here. According to district administration, the fund was granted under micro and small enterprises cluster development project.

The fund will be spent to build skill development centres, community hall, roads, bus shelters and entry points.

The central aid will help the estate, which has almost hundred business units, to spruce up its infrastructure. A discussion has been initiated between SIDBI and district business centre to implement the project. Members of the industries association said that a three-story building would also be constructed.
