Hyderabad Animal Save call for saving non-human species

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Animal Save has organised a two-day event in the city from Sunday to commemorate World Day for the End of Speciesism, (WoDES) to raise awareness about safeguarding other species than humans.

The idea behind the event was to denounce speciesism, which is discrimination against non-human animals on the basis of their species and to give a clarion call to society to safeguard, protect and ensure a better life to all species.

As a part of the event, activists gave demonstration at the Hyderabad Marathon at Gachibowli as well as activities like skit were also organised.
