Kakinada SP makes surprise inspections

KAKINADA: Kakinada district superintendent of police S. Satish Kumar made surprise visits to several areas in Kakinada city on Saturday night.

He visited Main Road, Jagannaickpur, Godarigunta and Glass House, Kalpana and Bhanugudi centre, checking the goings on.

The SP counselled the youth against needlessly moving around the roads at night. The police team accompanying him booked cases against some of the vehicle drivers who were found drunk.

Satish Kumar visited the DISHA outpost at the RTC Complex and inquired about the problems being faced by passengers.

Pithapuram circle inspector Y.R.K. Srinivas and Two Town sub-inspector Sankara Rao accompanied the SP.
