Temples Closed Due to Lunar Eclipse

KURNOOL: The Srisailam temple in Kurnool was closed on Saturday due to a partial lunar eclipse. However, it is set to reopen on Sunday morning with various rituals including Alaya Shuddhi and Samprokshana. Devotees will have the opportunity to participate in Pratah Kaala pujas, darshans, Arjita abhishekams, and other Arjita sevas starting at 7 am on Sunday. Further, several other temples in the region, including the Mahanandeeswara temple, Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple in Ahobilam, Yaganti temple, the Jagajjanani temple in Nandyal town, and others were also closed on Saturday evening due to the partial eclipse.
