Hyderabad: The GHMC has managed to acquire two properties that have put the Bio-Diversity level-1 flyover on hold for two years.

Under the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP), the GHMC has planned to construct two flyovers at the Bio-Diversity junction.

The level II flyover has been already inaugurated by municipal administration and urban development minister K.T. Rama Rao on November 4 and has already become a subject of discussion for its faulty design.

However, the construction of level one flyover was halted since two years as two highly influential property owners rejected compensation and approached courts.

The GHMC, however, made an out-of-the-court settlement with the property owners and following they gave the consent on November 10.

The proposed flyover will cater to the traffic moving from Gachibowli towards Khajaguda.
