Thiruvananthapuram: Governor P. Sathasivam on Saturday sought an explanation from the vice-chancellor P.K. Radhakrishnan on the issues related to the Kerala Law Academy Law College. The explanation was sought on the basis of a petition submitted by Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala asking him to intervene as the government was not acting on the complaints against the college. The Governor also forwarded the complaint submitted by the Opposition, to the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for immediate action.
The petition alleged high-handedness on the part of the management of the Kerala Law Academy towards students and sought the intervention of the Governor in his capacity as the chancellor of the university in solving the problems.
