Kozhikode: More women who suspect their photographs are on the hard disk of the studio in morphing controversy have come out.

Women's Cell circle inspector Bhanumathi, who is investigating the case, said its owner and photographer were still at large.

The women complained against photographer Bibeesh, whose hard disc is with the police.

Sources say there are images of more than 40,000 women, clicked during functions like weddings and copied from marriage albums.

The studio ‘Sadayam Shoot and Edit’ is located near Vadakara new bus stand and were popular in the area. The locals on Monday took out a protest march saying the police action was ineffective.

Since the studio had been taking up the events widely in the area, the people are vigilant and tense. Police said they were not sure if all the photographs on the hard disc are morphed ones. They are verifying the data in detail. Since the photographer is at large, it is not sure whether he had hidden any other photographs elsewhere.

Meanwhile,  All-Kerala Photographers Association said their jobs were now at risk due to the morphing by a single person. Since the photographer works in the studios, the owner should also be held responsible and arrested.
