Shoba Yatra at 1 pm on Rama Navami festival: Samithi
Hyderabad: The Bhagyanagar Sri Rama Navami Utsav Samithi on Tuesday said that the Shoba Yatra will be held at 1 pm on the day of the festival, on Thursday, after the ‘Seetaramula Kalyanam (the celestial wedding of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita)’, which will start at 9.30 am.
The Shoba Yatra procession will be taken out from the Sitarambagh temple to Hanuman Vyayamshala in Ramkote, with the participation of over one lakh devotees.
Samiti officials said that Shri Kashi Sumeru Peethadishwar Yathi Samrat Jagath Guru Shankara Charya Swamy Narendra Nad Saraswathi Ji Maharaj and Shri Sant Bomaram Ji Maharaj will be the chief guests for the day.
Dr Bhagwant Rao, samiti president, requested devotees to take part in the festivities in large numbers.
“We appeal to all devotees to take part in the ‘kalyanam’ as well the ‘Shobha Yatra’. We have also appealed to all political leaders, irrespective of parties, to take part in this grand event.”
