Malabar students score high in CBSE

All schools register 100 pc pass in Class X

KOZHIKODE: All the CBSE schools in  the Malabar region registered hundred percent pass in the class X examination, which is one of the best results in recent years.    In the Kozhikode region, 60 percent of students  scored above 70 percent.  

Those who secured A1 are  55 students out of  133  of Silver Hills Public School,  ten out of  73  of  Amritha Vidyalayam, 29 of Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan,  33 of MSS Public School  and 39 out of 159  of Veda Vyasa.  “It is one of the best results that we have ever had,” said the principal of Goodwill School, Malappuram.

Those  under Sahodaya School Complex- Malappuram chapter  scored 100 percent pass and a good number  scored A1,  he  added. Peevees Model school, Nilambur in Malappuram district, scored the maximum number of A1-- 39.  Goodwill School scored 19 A1 out of  41 students.

Students from 51 schools in Malappuram district appeared for the examination and scored good marks. Kannur, Wayanad and Kasargod districts also scored the maximum number of A1 unlike previous years.
