Traffic snarls on NH as TD's Maha Nadu concludes

KAKINADA: With the Telugu Desam's Mahanadu meeting concluded on Sunday, heavy traffic was witnessed on the National Highway between Ravulapalem and Rajanagaram road. The stretches were most affected as traffic movement was interrupted due to continuous vehicle flow towards the venue from the Vemagiri highway and Lalacheruvu route. The police were on the traffic management job to clear the route. The Telugu Desam cadres queued to the venue with party flags and raising slogans. The police diverted traffic to avoid traffic jams on the highways passing through the city, a police official said.
