Modi's song for millets released
Falguni Shah, who recently collaborated with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the song Abundance in Millets, has now released the single’s video on her social media accounts.
Falguni and her husband Gaurav Shah performed the song. PM Modi, Falguni, and Gaurav wrote the song together.
Sharing the video on Twitter, Falguni shared in the caption, “The video for our single “Abundance in Millets” is out now. A song written and performed with honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi to help farmers grow millets and help end world hunger. @UN declared this year as The International Year of Millets!”
Previously, Falguni told PTI that the idea to write a song about millets came up when she met with the PM after her Grammy win in New Delhi in 2022. She stated that Prime Minister Modi asked her to write a song with a message to end world hunger.
“It’s one thing to write for him and it’s one thing to write with him. In the middle of the song, you will hear the speech that he has written and narrated in his own voice,” she said.
When the audio version of the song released a few days ago, PM Modi had tweeted, “Excellent effort @FaluMusic! There is abundance of health and wellbeing in Shree Ann or millets.
Through this song, creativity has blended with an important cause of food security and removing hunger.”
