Tribal woman drowns in floodwaters

KAKINADA: A tribal woman Madakam Venkamma, 50, of Dugutta village died in flood waters on Friday. According to Dugatta locals, Venkamma went to the fields to graze the cattle.

When she was crossing a rivulet nearby the village, she drowned in the floodwater. 

CPM Rampachodavaram secretary Kiran requested the officials to alert the people and save their lives. She demanded the government
pay an ex gratia to the family members of the deceased.
