Visakhapatnam: In a glittering celebration marking 70 glorious years of the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), the president of BCCI, Roger Binny, lauded the Andhra Premier League (APL) for emerging as a remarkable platform for the budding talent to showcase their mettle and move up on the national firmament.

Madan Lal, while addressing the media, saw a bright future for the young hopefuls, who, he said, had the potential to represent the country. He commended ACA's concerted efforts to bolster the sport from the grassroots level. He said that Andhra Pradesh boasts of immense untapped talent.
Gopinath Reddy reiterated the association's unwavering commitment to incorporate insights and suggestions from players, coaches, and support staff.
Binny, in a conversation with Deccan Chronicle, acknowledged the veracity of the notion that players from under-19 teams can give a shot at cornering international glory with their performances. He said leagues like the APL were invaluable platforms for young cricketers to exhibit their skills.
By unveiling a futuristic roadmap, ACA has positioned itself as a catalyst for the sport’s growth in the state.
