Hyderabad boy among three probationers from Telangana

Hyderabad: IIT Mumbai graduate Sharat Chandra Pawar from East Marredpally is one of the 122 IPS probationers and 14 foreign officials who will pass out of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy on Monday.
A resident of Sri Sai Apartments, Mr Pawar’s father Dr Balaji Pawar works as district medical and health officer of Ranga Reddy district.
Mr Pawar had cracked the civil services exams in his third attempt. “I was inspired by my parents and wanted to serve society. The task ahead is challenging and I hope every day will give me a new experience,” he said.
Asked to flag issues he considered important, Mr Pawar replied that women empowerment would resolve most of the socio-economic problems. “We have set a benchmark and will deliver it. It all depends on where we are deployed and the task assigned by our seniors,” Mr Pawar said.
Three probationers from Telangana state will pass out on Monday. The other two are Mr Rajesh Chandra and Y. Rishanth Reddy.
