Kurnool: A farmer in Kosigi mandal of Kurnool district found a leopard cub in the nearby forest areas. While tending to their chilli field behind Thimmappakonda on the 20th of this month, the farmer couple, Tippaladoddi Thikkayya, and Tayamma, heard cries of an animal. They searched for the source of the sounds and came across a newborn leopard cub. Initially, they assumed it was a cat and brought it home to provide milk. However, it was later confirmed to be a leopard cub based on its claws. They’ve been caring for the cub, and it has been fed milk since then. People from the surrounding areas have been visiting the leopard cub. However, local people warned them about the legal implications of raising it, and they subsequently left the cub in the vicinity of the hill.
