Doctor, patient die of heart attack
Dr Laxman was an assistant professor in Nizamabad’s Government Medical College
Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, both a doctor and his patient suffered heart attacks and died around the same time at the Gandhari mandal headquarters of Kamareddy district on Sunday.
According to sources, Kethavath Jaggu , 62, from Gajjul thanda suffered a heart attack and his family members brought him to SV Srija multispecialtiy hospital in Gandhari.
While treating the patient, Dr Laxman, 45, too suffered a heart attack and died on the spot. When Kethavath was being rushed to Kamareddy, he succumbed on the way.
Dr Laxman was an assistant professor in Nizamabad’s Government Medical College. Around six months back, relatives of Dr Laxman had set up a private hospital in Gandhari, where he served. The doctor, a native of Mahbubabad, is survived by wife Snehalatha and two daughters.
