Jagan Fulfilled Only 15% of His Promises: TD
Vijayawada: Telugu Desam state Kinjarapu Atchannaidu sought to refute Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s assertion that 99 per cent of promises he made have been fulfilled.
Atchannaidu released a book – 85% Failure in Implementation of Jagan Reddy's
Promises – here on Thursday in an attempt to prove his claim.
He maintained that in reality, Jagan Mohan Reddy has kept only 100 out of the 730 promises he had made, which indicates mere 15 per cent success.
On YSRC’s charges that Telugu Desam Party has deleted its party manifesto from its website, the TD state president pointed out that the manifesto is available on the website of Election Commission of India for everyone to examine.
He accused YSRC government of not providing irrigation resources to farmers
of which a glaring example is Polavaram. The project has stagnated even though the previous TD government completed 75 per cent of the Polavaram works.
Atchannaidu alleged that policies of Jagan government are not inclusive, as inadequate funds have been allocated for welfare and uplift of SC, ST and BC
communities.
He said AP’s debt has risen to an alarming ₹10 lakh crore in the past four-and-a-half years, indicating YSRC government’s financial mismanagement.
