MIM Plea Torescue Stranded in Sudan
Hyderabad: Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala wrote to the Union ministry of external affairs to rescue around 70 people from Hyderabad, stranded in war-torn areas of Khartoum in Sudan.
Balala told Deccan Chronicle that those stranded in the war zone are from different parts of Hyderabad city and their family members have approached him seeking intervention. Some of them have gone for studies, employment and businesses.
“They have been stuck in the Khartoum City for the past one year and they do not have any access whatsoever to travel back to India,” he wrote to the Ministry.
He urged the ministry and the Indian government to help the stranded persons to travel back to their native places. He also shared the details of the stranded persons and their contact numbers with the Ministry.
“ Hope early action would be taken up” he wrote on X sharing the details of the stranded persons.
