Bidar native killed after car rams into a parked lorry
Hyderabad: A car driver succumbed to injuries after the vehicle that he was driving hit a road divider and rammed into a parked lorry at an emergency lane near National Police Academy (NPA) Rajendranagar.
The incident occurred at 10.30 pm on Tuesday. The car was at a high speed and the driver lost control of the steering on the ORR turning.
The car was badly damaged. Police rushed to the spot and with the help of a crane they managed to pull out the car and the victim. The car was heading towards Shamshabad from Gachibowli and it was running at a speed of 150 kmph, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Revan Siddha (36) a native of Bidar. The Rajendranagar police have seized the car, registered a case and shifted the victim's body to Osmania general hospital for postmortem.
