Hyderabad: Youth dead, kin hurt in mishap

Hyderabad: A 22-year-old student was killed and his cousin suffered serious injuries in an accident at Jagathgirigutta. The mishap occurred when the bike they were riding skidded.
Police said D. Saideekshith, a resident of Gajularamaram, was studying engineering in Medchal. On April 20, he and his cousin Md Rahaman, 24, were going to Jagathgirigutta on their bike. The duo were proceeding from Shapur through Pipeline Road.
On the way when they reached the municipal dumping yard, Saideekshith lost control of the bike and the bike skidded on the road. They both fell down and suffered serious injuries. Saideekshith suffered a serious injury on the head and Rahaman a fracture on his right hand and other body parts.
Rahaman was discharged from hospital after he recovered. But Ssaideekhith's condition deteriorated and he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning. Based on his father Ravinder’s complaint, a case of accidental death and inflicting injuries were registered and his body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
