Stones pelted after patient dies in Kadapa hospital

ANANTAPUR: Tense situation prevailed at Fathima Medical College in Kadapa when relatives of a patient, who died after being administered an injection, started pelting stones at the hospital.

Sources said Venkatamma of ASR Nagar in Kadapa suffered a minor injury. The hospital staff gave her two injections. Venkatamma died within 10 minutes.

Her relatives gathered at the hospital and demanded action against the hospital management. Soon they started pelting stones.

Police rushed to the spot and disbursed them.
