National award for 18 teachers from Hyderabad
The awards will be presented by President Pranab Mukherjee in Delhi on September 4.

HYDERABAD: Jubilee Hills Public School principal M. Varalakshmi has been selected for the national teachers award from the CBSE quota Ms Varalakshmi, with an experience of nearly 28 years, is the only teacher from both Telugu states to find a place in the CBSE quota.
Sanskrit teacher R. Satyanarayana from Kendriya Vidyalaya-1, Uppal, was selected for the best teacher award. The awards will be presented by President Pranab Mukherjee in Delhi on September 4.
Seven TS teachers and nine from AP got awards in the state quotas. The teachers from Telangana selected for the award are: Mr M. Venkatesh, Mr T. Sreenivasa Rao, Mr P. Venu, Mr B. Madhusudhana Raju, Mr R. Ramesh Babu, Mr M. Buchi Reddy and Mr K. Govind.
