CP Imposes Section 144 at 15 Nomination Centres in Hyderabad Assembly Segments

Hyderabad: In view of the nomination process for the Assembly from November 3 to November 10, followed by the withdrawal of nominations, Hyderabad police commissioner Sandeep Shandilya imposed Section 144 of the CrPC at the nomination centres pertaining to 15 Assembly constituencies in the Hyderabad police jurisdiction.

He said the order prohibiting the assembly of five or more persons in a radius of 100 metres from the nomination centres from November 3 to November 15 was clamped to maintain law and order and peace and tranquility.

The orders pertained to the offices of the returning officers located in the following areas

Musheerabad: Tahsil office, Lower Tank Bund Road

Malakpet: Office of Deputy Commissioner, Circle-6, Malakpet, Nalgonda crossroads

Amberpet: Tahsil office

Khairatabad: Zonal commissioner Office

Jubilee Hills: Tahsil office, Shaikpet

Sanathnagar: Office of deputy commissioner, Begumpet Circle-30

Nampally: Tahsil office, Asifnagar, Vijaynagar Colony

Karwan: Tahsil office, Golconda

Goshamahal: GHMC complex, Abids

Charminar: Moghalpura Sports Complex, Charminar

Chandrayangutta: Tahsil office, Bandlaguda

Yakutpura: Tahsil office, Saidabad

Bahadurpura: Tahsil office, Bahadurpura

Secunderabad: Zonal commissioner office, Marredpally

Secunderabad Cantonment: Office of CEO, SCB, Court House Compound
