GHMC raked in Rs 1,056.37 crore from building approvals in 2022

Hyderabad: The GHMC has approved 60 high-rise residential buildings and 22 high-rise commercial buildings in 2022. Of the 14 residential buildings have over 30 floors.

The most number of floors that was approved is a residential project at Serilingampally, which has 47 floors and a ground floor.

The corporation has also approved 16 layout and gated communities. The revenue generated by way of building permission approvals stands at a staggering Rs 1,056.37 crore.

The GHMC provided the following data on permission given: Individual residential buildings: 11,812; Residential apartment buildings 1,934; commercial buildings 192; institutional 21; assembly buildings 6; industrial 7; medical 18; parking tower/ complex  1; public utility 3; residential-commercial (mixed) 5.
