Hyderabad: Fire erupted in a stationary train at the Nampally railway station on Wednesday. It spread from an AC coach, railway officials said, adding the cause was likely to be a short circuit. All passengers got down immediately and no one was injured. Railway police said the coach was detached and moved from the main track for servicing.

“A short circuit must have caused the fire, but we have to confirm it,” said a railway policeman. A fire tender rushed to the spot. The fire was put out in half an hour.
