Japanese visa centres in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram

The centres will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday except on holidays.

Thiruvananthapuram: The consulate-general of Japan has introduced visa application centres in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, which will function  from Friday. The new facility, meant to invite  more foreign visitors to Japan, are  being opened in other cities in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry. The centres will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday except on holidays. The applications can be submitted when the centre is open while collections can be made from 1 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The centre in Kochi will function on the first floor, coastal chambers, Manoj Tower, Opposite Mercy Hotel, MG Road, Ravipuram, Kochi-682015. The one in  Thiruvananthapuram is on the  first floor,  Asiatic Business Centre, TC 2/2408, Attipra Village, Kazhakuttom, Thiruvananthapuram-695581. Those applying for diplomatic or official passports and visas and those who  require  special attention on humanitarian ground should submit their applications at the visa counter at the consulate general office in Chennai directly.
