Blood on the roads: 9 die in different accidents in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Two persons died and another injured when the bike they were riding went out of control and rammed into an electric pole on the roadside at Shamirpet on Sunday. Two other two-wheeler riders were run over.
In separate accidents at Rajendranagar and Adibatla, one person each was killed after they were hit by cars.
According to police, three persons including a 10-year-old boy were on a bike. At Babaguda village, their bike went out of control and rammed into the electric pole. Mahesh and Krishna died on the spot, while their friend Murthy sustained severe injuries and his condition is said to be critical.
At Shamshabad, M. Raghupathi, 60, and his wife died when a van hit their scooter.
At Rajendranagar, B. Ravi Kanth, 36, working as an electrician died after a speeding car hit his bike. At Adibatla, N. Gomesh, a centring worker, who was crossing the road, was run over by a speeding car late on Saturday.
