Final written examination for AP SI to be held on October 14 and 15

Vijayawada: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Andhra Pradesh, has announced that the final written examination for the recruitment to the posts of SCT sub-inspectors of police (Civil) (Men & Women), SCT reserve sub-inspectors of police (APSP) (Men) will be held on October 14 and 15, 2023.

The preliminary written test for these posts was held on February 19, 2023, in which 57,923 candidates qualified. A total of 56,130 candidates submitted stage II online application forms. The PMT/PET (Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test) started on August 25 and is likely to be completed by September 25.

The final written examination will consist of four papers: two descriptive papers and two objective papers. The descriptive papers will be held on October 14, from 10 am to 1 pm (Paper I) and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm (Paper II).

The objective papers will be held on October 15, from 10 am to 1 pm (Paper III) and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm (Paper IV).

The examination will be held at four locations: Visakhapatnam, Eluru, Guntur, and Kurnool. The centre-wise allocation of candidates and the time for downloading hall tickets will be informed after the declaration of the PMT/PET results.

The SLPRB has advised all the candidates to keep themselves updated on the recruitment process through the official website of the board.
