Bengaluru: The northeast monsoon, which was delayed due to many active systems over the peninsula and western parts of the country, has set in. After witnessing record rainfall and heavy floods during the southwest monsoon, the city had some respite and sunny days.

“At present, the line of withdrawal of northeast monsoon is passing. Due to this weather system, light and moderate rains are possible. However, for the next two days, cloudy to overcast sky conditions with slight rains will be witnessed.

The temperature will remain on the pleasant side. No major significant weather changes are likely to occur,” said an officer from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The temperature dropped from 29.6 degrees Celsius to 21 degrees Celsius on Monday.
