SHE team arrests 53 harassers in 3 weeks in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In the last three weeks, Rachakonda SHE teams have booked 48 cases and apprehended 53 eve-teasers. One among is a teen couple who are now separate.

According to the police, Sourabh Paul, 20, a native of Nacharam, got his 17-year-girlfriend pregnant. He forcibly fed her some pills to cause and abortion. Following this, the girl lodged a complaint against Paul who was arrested by the SHE teams.

Apart from Paul, SHE teams nabbed 53 eve-teasers using decoys from different areas. All of them were booked under petty cases and counselled by professional counsellors in the presence of their family members. Minors were counselled by Dr Vasavi  Samyuktha Sunki, chief consultant psychologist.
