Class X Student Dies of Dengue

Kakinada: Muchika Madhavi, 14, of Pandraju Palli village of Kumavaram mandal of Alluri Sitarama Raju district, died of dengue and jaundice. She was studying Class X in Kasturba Girls School at Kothulagutta.

After Dasara vacations, her mother Venkata Lakshmi took Madhavi to the school on October 26, but the school officials informed the parents on Friday about the illness of Madhavi.

Venkata Lakshmi said that she was admitted to Primary Health Centre at Kunavarm and later, she was admitted in a private hospital at Bhadrachalam on Sunday. She said that her daughter died on Sunday night and the doctors confirmed she died of dengue, malaria and jaundice.
