SC defers hearing on Naidu’s plea for anticipatory bail in AP Fibernet case
Vijayawada: The Supreme Court on Wednesday deferred its hearing on Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu’s petition seeking anticipatory bail for him in the AP Fibernet case.
The two-judge bench comprising Justice Aniruddha Bose and Justice Bela Trivedi was supposed to take up the hearing on Wednesday.
Though the Naidu’s petition for anticipatory bail in the AP Fibernet case had come up for hearing before the apex court earlier, it had deferred the hearing, saying the case was linked to the outcome of AP skill development scam case especially pertaining to Section 17-A of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. As the apex court delivered a split verdict in this case on Tuesday, the SC bench deferred hearing of the Fibernet case again.
