JH cops File Cases Against Pubs Open Beyond Stipulated Time

Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police cracked the whip on several pubs for violating rules. Police have registered cases against managements of pubs for running business activities and using high decibel music late into the night.
According to police, they received complaints from neighbours stating that the pubs run business activities beyond the stipulated timings and use high-deciBel sounds which are creating nuisance at night.
Following the complaints, police formed teams and conducted raids at different pubs in Jubilee Hills limits. They found violations in Rouge Pub, Forge Pub and Hello Cocktail, Fat pigeon, Zero 40 and others.
Police said that the managements indulged in serving liquor beyond the stipulated timings and used high decibel sounds which created disturbances to neighbours.
Jubilee Hills detective inspector S. Veera Sekhar said that police have registered cases under IPC Section 188 (Disobedience) and started a probe.
