Contest from all 175 seats, YSRC MP challenges Pawan
VIJAYAWADA: YSR Congress MP Nandigam Suresh on Saturday challenged Jana Sena chief K. Pawan Kalyan to put up his party candidates from all 175 Assembly seats to prove that he is not a slave of Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
Suresh accused Pawan of going by diktats of Chandrababu. “The JS chief wants to sell the votes of his fans to TD and make Naidu the CM,” he remarked.
The MP went on to point out that Pawan had contested from Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram constituencies in the 2019 elections on orders of Chandrababu. He said Pawan has not yet realised that Naidu had planned the JS chief’s defeat from both these constituencies.
“Actually, what is the relationship between you and Naidu,” he asked. The MP accused the JS chief of talking like a street bully from atop his Varahi vehicle wherever he halts for a public meeting on orders of Naidu.
The MP recalled Pawan Kalyan assuring people that in future, he will serve them much better than the present government.
“Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has already provided ₹2.23 lakh crore to people under various welfare schemes through direct benefit transfer. On this, both Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu have alleged that AP is becoming another Sri Lanka. Aren’t both of you ashamed for now saying that you will do more than YSRC government,” Suresh remarked.
