KT Rama Rao tells MLAs to market KLIS

While reviewing the progress of the party’s membership enrolment drive with legislators and ministers of both these districts.

Hyderabad: TRS working president, K.T. Rama Rao, on Thursday asked ministers and legislators from Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts to impress upon people that the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS) will solve the water woes of the city.

While reviewing the progress of the party’s membership enrolment drive with legislators and ministers of both these districts, he said the enrolment process must be completed by August 10 and basti committees constituted by August 20.

He said that there are 2,000 notified slums within GHMC limits and during the membership drive, party leaders must take the welfare and development programmes of the state government to the people of the city and its surroundings.

People must be remin-ded that Godavari water goes to the Yellampally reservoir and the gover-nment has taken steps to bring water to the city through the Kales-hwaram and solved the drinking water problem in the city.

He said that people of are confident that none of the parties can beat the TRS in Hyderabad.
