Laxman calls for ‘TRS-mukt Telangana’
The senior BJP leader said the criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was ridiculous
HYDERABAD: Coming up with a word for word rebuttal of the remarks made by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in Bihar, BJP’s national OBC morcha president Dr. K. Laxman on Thursday called for a ‘TRS-mukt Telangana.’
Addressing a press conference along with former MLA N.V.S.S. Prabhakar, Laxman said that Rao’s visit to Bihar on Wednesday to hand over ex gratia cheques to families of Galwan martyrs was an excuse to discuss politics with his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar.
He said the criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was ridiculous. He said defence exports rose by six times and from being importer of mobile phones is now exporting them.
Cautioning people that TRS and Congress were working together, Laxman said that Rao is being advised by poll strategist Prashant Kishor, who in Delhi is working with the Congress. He said that there were clear indications that TRS will lose the Munugode Assembly by-election.
Prabhakar said the Chief Minister was hampering the state’s interests by not sending representatives to important meetings convened by the Centre like the Krishna and Godavari river disputes with Andhra Pradesh.
