BRS MLC quits party, likely to join Congress

HYDERABAD: MLC Kasireddy Narayana Reddy and Kalwakurthy ZP vice-chairman Balaji Singh quit the BRS on Sunday. The two leaders, who met TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy is likely to join the Congress soon.

Singh said that he had returned from abroad in 2009 during the statehood agitation. He was the party in charge of Kalwakurthy. After forming a government, the party has failed to handle people's welfare activities, which was why he had tendered his resignation, he said.

Many BRS leaders from Kodangal joined the Congress at Revanth Reddy’s residence here.
