Kurnool: Telugu Desam leader and MLC B.T. Naidu questioned why state government has not taken action against Ajeya Kallam Reddy who had issued several orders in the liquor scam.

While this is so, state government has gone on to prosecute opposition leader N. Chandrababu Naidu and former minister Kollu Ravindra in the skill development case, the MLC pointed out.

He was speaking at a protest that Telugu Desam staged near the statue of N.T. Rama Rao in the city on Thursday.

Several leaders who spoke at the protest said action has been taken against Chandrababu Naidu with malice. They pointed out that over the past four and a half years, YSRC government has not produced any evidence against Chandrababu, but has kept filing cases.

Senior TD leaders Somisetty Venkateswarlu, Y. Nageswara Yadav, Satram Ramakrishna, Nandyala Nagendra Kumar, Somisetty Naveen, Y.K. Bashir and P. Ravi Kumar were among those who participated in the protest.
