V Srinivasprasad to JD(S)-Congress: Forgot already?
People won\'t approve of mid-term polls: Srinivasprasad
Mysuru: A day after BJP leader and minister Mr B. Sriramulu said that the JD(S) and Congress have struck a secret alliance in the bypolls and plan to form a coalition government again, veteran politician and BJP MP Mr V Srinivasprasad attacked the previous Congress JD(S) coalition government and said the former coalition partners know quite well why the bypolls are happening.
The two parties are not friends but enemies and blame each other for the collapse of the coalition government, he said while speaking to media persons in Mysuru on Sunday.
He said, "people won't approve of mid-term polls. The BJP alone can give a stable government for the next three years. The JD(S) and Congress do not have an adequate number of seats, how can they provide a stable government?," he wondered.
On former Speaker Mr Ramesh Kumar's statement that people know about former CM Mr Siddaramaiah, he said, "people know he is egoistic. This is the third election in which Siddaramaiah is leading the Congress after the Lok Sabha and assembly elections. It is sure that they will be defeated in the bypolls," Mr Srinivasprasad said.
