Hyderabad: TD leader and former minister Motkupally Narasimhulu said that if the TD wants to have an alliance in the next elections it should be with the TRS only.

Coming down heavily on Congress MLA Revanth Reddy, the TD leader alleged that in the vote for note case, he brought bad name to the TD.

Speaking to mediapersons on Friday, Narasimhulu said that he is not against the TD but no one in the party is asking about Revanth Reddy’s betrayal of TD. He said that if the party leadership would have been expelled from the party when this case came out, now the TD would not have faced the present situation. He said that at present, there are only five to six leaders in TD in Telangana. He said that TD should be an alternate to the TRS in Telangana but that place is being occupied by the Congress now.

Mr Narasimhulu said that as a friend I am telling, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has to organise NTR’s birthday celebrations officially in Telangana.

He said that AP Chief Minister and TD national president N. Chandrababu Naidu is planning to conduct a tour in Telangana, but it is not correct on the part of Mr Naidu to tell the party leaders that they have to strengthen the party in Telangana.

Mr Narasimhulu extended an apology to TD workers if they got hurt with his statement that the TD should be merged with the TRS.
