TRS has cheated all sections, alleges Revanth
The Congress party realised the dream of four crore people by creating Telangana state, he said
HYDERABAD: TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy slammed the state government for failing to meet the expectations and aspirations of Telangana people in the last eight years. People were cheated by the TRS, which made false promises during the Assembly elections, he said.
Reddy was speaking after greeting the people on the occasion of the Telangana formation day on Thursday.
The Congress party realised the dream of four crore people by creating Telangana state, he said. However, since coming to power, the TRS government has been looting all sections of people, he alleged. Telangana protagonists, martyrs, students, youth and farmers have been cheated by the government, which also threw the agriculture sector into a deep crisis, he said on Twitter.
Reddy pointed out that one Poosala Paramesh, who fought for Telangana, had lost his home guard job forcing him to become a street vendor. His repeated pleas to the state government for getting a home guard job have fallen on deaf ears, Reddy alleged.
