Karnataka cabinet expansion: CM Siddaramaiah on high, Dr G plays spoiler
Dr G has reportedly closeted himself in his home and is refusing to meet any of his party colleagues.
Bengaluru: The cabinet expansion that has now triggered a full-blown battle between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC president Dr G. Parameshwar, who made his displeasure evident by boycotting the cabinet expansion event on Friday, has carried into Saturday. He has reportedly closeted himself in his home and is refusing to meet any of his party colleagues.
Party workers close to the party chief have described his move as a gesture of deep displeasure against what they termed " the high-handedness of the chief minister," saying that this is perhaps the first time that Dr Parameshwar has chosen to openly express his anger in the last four and half years. In the past whenever he lost a round in the game of politics to Mr Siddaramaiah, Dr Parameshwara would come out before the public and blame the media for driving a wedge between the two.
