HYDERABAD: TRS leaders and cadre are bracing up for the October 5 ‘double dhamaka’ across the state. They are making elaborate arrangements to celebrate Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s announcement on launching the BRS along with Dasara on Wednesday by bursting crackers and distributing sweets to people in all 119 Assembly constituencies.

The party leadership asked ministers, party MLAs, MLCs and MPs to hold celebrations on a grand note in all the Assembly constituencies immediately after Rao's official announcement at 1.19 pm on October 5 by renaming TRS as BRS. They were also asked to celebrate Dasara by involving the public. Accordingly, party leaders held constituency-wise meetings in all districts with the respective cadre on Monday to discuss the arrangements for the big day.

Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav held a meeting with Hyderabad district leaders at Telangana Bhavan. It was attended by home minister Mohd Mahmood Ali, city MLAs Danam Nagender and Maganti Gopinath, among others.

Later, Yadav told the media that it was decided to hold massive celebrations in all the 150 divisions under GHMC limits on Wednesday.
