Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) celebrated the Congress party’s victory in Telangana at the Andhra Ratna Bhavan in Vijayawada on Sunday.

APCC chief Gidugu Rudra Raju and other party leaders gathered at the party office and celebrated winning movements on a big television screen.  They were so buoyed by the victory that they promptly coined the slogan – Yesterday Karnataka, Today Telangana and Tomorrow AP

Rudra Raju said Congress leaders worked unitedly in Karnataka assembly elections, which catapulted Congress to power in that state. Congress implemented the same formula in Telangana assembly elections and romped home. “If this type of togetherness is continued in the coming assembly elections, Congress will win in Andhra Pradesh too,” he declared.

APCC working presidents Sunkara Padmasri and Janga Gowtham, organising secretary R. Rama Murthy, and leaders K. Sivaji, D. Murali, and N. Narasimha Rao were among those present. Later, Gidugu Rudra Raju extended his warm wishes to TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad for registering a great victory in the assembly elections.

Congress cadres celebrated the party’s victory in Telangana in various parts of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. AICC member N. Raghuveera Reddy and APCC working president N Tulasi Reddy congratulated the TPCC team for achieving a great victory against BRS.

Tulasi Reddy recalled the Telugu state had been a stronghold of Congress and gave 41 MP seats to the party in Lok Sabha. He predicted that history will repeat itself and Congress will regain power in AP in the upcoming general polls with the slogan –Yesterday Karnataka, Today Telangana, and Tomorrow AP – for the party to get back its golden era.

Satya Sai district DCC president and former MLA Sudhakar of Congress and Anantapur DCC president B. Prathap Reddy also celebrated the victory of Congress in TS along with their party cadres.
