Three Muslims among YSRC assembly coordinators
Vijayawada: YSRC medical wing state vice-president Dr. Mehboob Shaikh said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again proved that he is partisan towards Muslim minorities while declaring party coordinators for the 2024 assembly elections.
He pointed out that out of total of 35 Assembly seats in two phases, three members of minorities have been named as coordinators. He hoped more Muslims will get nominations in the next lists.
Dr. Mehboob recalled that five Muslim candidates had got the YSRC tickets in the 2019 assembly elections, four of whom won. He thanked the CM for so far appointing as coordinators Sheikh Asif from Vijayawada West, B.S. Maqbul Ahmed from Kadiri and Sheikh Noori Fatima from Guntur East.
Dr. Mehboob called on Muslims to stand by Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is giving the highest priority to Muslims, and enable him to win the 2024 elections.
